Too many favorites!!
I had the best time photographing this beautiful girl!! She had a great selection of outfits to change in to, she brought her guitar, and she was willing to go anywhere I wanted...hehe :)
As I went through the editing process, all I could think was...I DID NOT LOOK LIKE THIS AT 15!!

Have I mentioned lately how much I love my job?
I guess that I haven't...since I haven't posted on my blog in a while. But seriously....I love what I do!! I love meeting so many amazing people, I love going on adventures to find the perfect shooting locations, and I really love capturing special moments in time....like this family silhouette.
It makes me smile every time I see it! And it's definitely worth every chigger bite that I picked up while laying in that grass :)

Celebrating 50 years together!!
These two are just ADORABLE!! And telling you that my daughter and I enjoyed spending the afternoon with them is an understatement! My cheeks were seriously sore from all the laughing and smiling :D
Tree says "You'll always see him holding my hand.", then Doc replies "I have to hold her hand, so she can't get away!"
Doc was giving Tree a push on the swing, then jumped on the one next to her. As soon as they were matched up, Sabrina and I said "Now, you're married!"...and I snapped this next image.
I love the way he's looks at his wife...
This session was not only fun, but truly inspiring! During a time when divorce rates are so high, it was wonderful to see this type of love, respect, devotion, and friendship in a marriage!
So, what's their secret to making it 50 years? Doc says it's the ability to laugh at yourself...but mostly you try to laugh at the other person :) LOVE IT!
Because of these two, I have been completely inspired to photograph more married couples...and possibly create a coffee table book titled "How to be GOLDEN" :)

Cutie Patootie #2...is almost here
I had the worst dream a few nights ago!! In this dream, I was meeting my best friend to do her maternity session and her water broke right before we got started! Then, something happened (one of those fuzzy places in dreamland that I can't really remember) that prevented me from photographing the birth! I was just sick about it! These were two beautiful stages in my friend's life, pregnancy and birth, that were forever gone and I hadn't documented either. So, of course the next morning, shortly after waking up and remembering this nightmare....I gave my friend a call and said "We have to get together..QUICK!".
The first maternity session I did for this beautiful family was done more than 3 weeks before cutie patootie #1 was due...but then he was born just 9 days later! And you can see by these images, that she looks like she could have this one any day now! I'm so glad the sun came out this weekend and we were able to meet up!! At least the first part of my dream didn't come true :)
Isn't she one of the most beautiful pregnant ladies you've ever seen!! SERIOUSLY!!
Back to the stone wall...where it all began so many years ago :) Love the love!!

Mini birthday session
I recently started offering mini birthday sessions because kids change so fast and it's important to document each stage before it's gone!
$175 for one child:: includes my session fee for a 30 minute mini session, 4x6 proof set with 8-12 images, and (1) 8x10...session must take place within 2 weeks of child's birthday.
I happened to meet little 'S' and her mom just after she turned 6...perfect timing! And such a fun age :)

One year old cuteness
Yesterday was fantastic!! After days of almost constant rain, the clouds opened and the sun came out! I was able to photograph this little doll for her 1 year session and do a maternity session for my best friend (I'll be posting some of those images later today).
I had such a hard time choosing my favorites to post here...so many good ones!! I can't wait to show her parents all the proofs when we get together for their viewing on Tuesday :)
